B.Sc. Mathematics was started in the year 1972. Dr. A. Alfred Gurusingh, M.Sc. M.Phil., Ph.D. was the First Head of the Department of Mathematics. M.Sc. course was started in 1987. There are 9 faculty members in the Mathematics Department. Among them all 9 are Ph.D. holders. So far, the department has produced many university rank holders both in UG & PG level.

Course of Action:

1. Organizing National Level Conferences.

2. Conducting Quiz competitions in the Inter Collegiate Levels.

3. Conducting Workshops Periodically.
